Aztlan XC Classic was established in 1976. It is a competitive cross country style course that has been opened to all levels of ability. This iconic longstanding event has featured nationally recognized runners. The event is now more youth focused while at the same time showcasing elite athletes competing for prize money. The Los Angeles Parks Foundation is the official beneficiary of this event alongside Aztlan Athletics Foundation. LA Parks Foundation has been the host for the series since 1976.
