2024 Scholarship Application Process and Requirements
Aztlan Athletics Foundation established this scholarship to empower student athletes who are recent high school graduates or will graduate soon and attend a college, university, or trade school upon graduation.
Scholarship candidates should be student athletes with a 3.0 GPA or better. Candidates will compete on their academic and athletic record, their capacity to lead and serve, and their commitment to making a significant impact in their school and community.
Scholarship candidates are required to submit a video or essay, 2-3 minutes in length for video, no more than 2 pages for essay, describing their current school and family dynamic, their plans upon graduation, academic and athletic accomplishments, and examples of their commitment to their school and community.
Aztlan Athletics Foundation’s Board Members will serve as The Scholarship Committee and will review all video/letter submissions to select finalists. The Scholarship Committee will interview finalists and award two $500.00 scholarships from the pool of finalists. Scholarship recipients will be recognized at the AAF Gala in September of 2024.
