Dr. Laura Andrade has worked in the field of behavioral health research and practice for over 30 years.  She is an experienced researcher and clinician focusing on the impact of complex trauma, infant-parent mental health and community psychology.   She is also trained in several assessment techniques.  Dr. Andrade has worked over 21 years in LA County’s Department of Children and Family Services where she manages that Continuous Quality Improvement Section.  Dr. Andrade is also  has vast experience in program development and evaluation.  Dr. Andrade works to support racial equity work in LA County and supports community wellness through physical activity, nutrition and increased exposure to nature and animals.
